Mobile TV: The Operator’s Perspective

The unconference extravaganza is upon us. If you are a technology enthusiast in Bangalore then the coming week has lots in store for you. On Monday is our monthly MoMo event and on Staruday Barcamp Bangalore 2 kicks off! So lets set the ball rolling.

This month’s topic is Mobile TV: The Operator’s Perspective and our speaker is Mr. Krishna Durbha from Reliance. Mr Durbha has generously agreed to share his insights on Mobile TV in general and how its going to play out in India. If you want to cut through the hype and get the point of view which matters, its the place to be on Monday evening. The talk will be followed by a discussion and dinner, all sponsored by TCS.

Landmarks/Directions:

  • Next to Koramangala Police Station.
  • If coming from Forum, it is just before the T-Junction of the Indoor Stadium, on the right.
  • If coming from Intermediate Ring Road, go towards the Indoor Stadium and take a left at the traffic junction. Lookout on the left.
  • Locate it on Wikimapia.
  • Stop when you see a banner of Shaimak Davar and look for our Banner :)

Coverage in Business Line

October Stuff

The topic for our October meet was Location Based Services and the speaker was Pramod Jajoo from Xora. In his presentation he covered the technologies, applications, market, issues and future of Location based services on Mobile. The presentation can be found here (pdf).
