Rakesh Godhwani is the manager for mobile content and applications at Qualcomm for India and SAARC. Rakesh works closely with leading wireless application developers across the country to encourage the adoption of BREW, a complete technical and business system for CDMA and WCDMA wireless devices. His focus is the creation of a healthy ecosystem for the developer community, enabling them to be profitable through facilitating collaboration with operators and device manufacturers worldwide.
With over ten years of experience in the industry, Rakesh has been responsible for developing technology as well as managing customers and businesses for companies such as Wipro and Intel. Rakesh, also, is a visiting faculty of Marketing and Business Communication at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore, and at an executive MBA program for Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
Rakesh has a degree in engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Surathkal. He has a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
